"My experience with CASXpress and its president, Maybeline Despagne, has been with shipping clinical laboratory equipment and supplies to Hopital Sacre Coeur in Milot Haiti. ( sponsored by the CRUDEM Foundation--an acronym for Center for Rural Development of Milot).

I am so impressed with the way in which Maybeline keeps track of all cargo traffic in and out—by air or by container. She is on top of whereabouts of every box. We ship large and small fragile instruments and expensive/ expendable lab reagents, many requiring refrigeration. If she anticipates a delay in air service, e.g. over a weekend, she stores reagents in her refrigerator so they won’t be setting in some hot place.
Obviously we are extremely satisfied and grateful for this excellent service and highly recommend CASXpress to others.

“Our Immaculate Conception/St Jules Haiti team has been very pleased with the service we have received from Cas Xpress. We frequently ship medical supplies and medicines to our very rural clinic in Northwest Haiti. We have come to rely heavily on the expert service of Cas Xpress in the timely shipment of these vital medical items. Maybelline and her staff are a lot of fun to work with and are very helpful in accommodating us when we ship. We have NEVER lost a box of valuable medical supplies when shipping Cas Xpress to Haiti. In years past, we did lose items all the time with other shippers to Haiti and this caused considerable problems for our staff and the patients we serve. Thank God there is a reliable company carrying these life saving items to a country suffering and in pain.
Keep up the great work!!!!"

"Thank you for the excellent service you gave us to get the container loaded at your dock in Hollywood. Compared to what we have gone through previously, this was a dream trip!"

"Hi Maybeline, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and everyone there for the great service CAS XPRESS provides. Our most recent shipment was a $600 printer/copier and I was worried that it would get damaged in shipping or delivery, but it arrived in perfect working order. We’ve never had a problem with the delivery men and we very much appreciate that you deliver right to our door. Thank you and keep up the great work!"

"We started using Caribbean American Shipping Express in July 2005, all our shipments have been delivered on time and intact as their door to door delivery is not only excellent but very reliable. In addition the fact they they clear customs for you eliminates the unknown and any potential foul-ups that could happen.

Right after the earth quake everybody wanted and needed to get their relief items to Haiti and with the port in Port au Prince closed it created a back log of freight. However all our relief items including a 120' x 80' tent that we shipped for housing and worship was delivered as promised.

I have found that Maybeline Dugue-Despagne and all the employees at Caribbean American Shipping Express are very professional and eager to help you."

"My ophthalmology practice is based in Chicago, but I do frequent humanitarian and medical work in Haiti with Living Hope Mission and Founders Wilbert and Meg Merzilus. Recently, while helping to coordinate more materials to set up an eye clinic in Cap Haitian, I had to get some medical supplies and equipment there pronto. Tony Marcelli and the people at CASCO really came to the fore. They coordinated delivery of the materials, helped pass them through customs in record time, and got them where they needed to be—all under a tight deadline.

I work with many organizations in Haiti and frequently need to ship materials there. Now that I know how reliable and helpful CASCO is, I will definitely turn to them again in the future and recommend them to others."

"CASCO has been terrific to work with. There are so many hurdles to doing malnutrition work in Haiti that when someone takes a personal interest in your problems and goes way out of their way to solve them, as Tony Marcelli and Maybeline at CASCO have done several times in the last few months for us at Meds & Food for Kids, we are very grateful.

Once we had an expert mechanic coming to put together a machine that had not yet arrived because of shipping problems with other companies. Tony made it happen just as the mechanic arrived. Another time, a very important piece of equipment was late arriving at CASCO from California. Tony talked the airline company into waiting for it. It did not arrive until the very last moment and missed the flight but Tony arranged to ship it to Miami for a flight two days later. When we are feeling like we are the only ones who care about our problems, up pops Tony, who also cares about Haiti and the difficult development work that we do here. Tony and Maybeline are those rare individuals who are in business to help those of us on the ground carrying out various missions in Haiti.
Their prices are fair and their service is superlative. I could not recommend them more highly."

" After working with projects in Haiti for more than 25 years, and after having many insurmountable frustrations with unreliable, and, frequently, dishonest shippers, what a great surprise it was to find a company with impeccable integrity, reliable service, and consistent professionalism. How refreshing it has been to discover CASCO who has repeatedly “gone the second mile.” Their reputation has been consistent with all of my contacts and friends.

As a business, CASCO is outstanding. But beyond that, their staff and also their president, Tony Marcelli, take a personal interest in “delivering the goods.” Repeatedly, they have “gone the second mile” to help their customers. They take a genuine interest in doing good for the Haitian people and not just for themselves.

Recently, we needed a tractor in Gonaives. Shipping there has been so difficult, but they worked through ways that we never could to have it delivered promptly.

It is obvious that CASCO considers it their mission to partner with other NGO and missionary groups who are committed to bringing relief to the Haitian people. Thank you CASCO for filling a great vacuum and need through your company to reduce our shipping frustrations. We appreciate you so much."
